Gartner Business Intelligence Excellence Award 2006 Winner!

HypoVereinsbank’s Business Intelligence initiative was crucial for setting up a new business model, combining data of different divisions. The BI initiative allowed HVB to benchmark each credit against the market and to feed all risk models with the relevant data. The BI project showed a solid architectural approach, was central to HVB’s business strategy, and delivered return on investment in less than one year.
The solution and results were presented at the BI Summit 2006 in London by Eckart J. Schröer, Head of Information Management, Active Credit Portfolio Management, at HVB Corporates & Markets Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG, who won the award following a vote by the audience. Gartner congratulates him and his organization to this outstanding achievement.

Your BI application will be evaluated against all the others submitted based upon a range of criteria including the Gartner Cornerstones of Business Intelligence Excellence Research Note. Applications will be evaluated by the Gartner Business Intelligence analyst research team. We will select three finalists that will present their successes at our Business Intelligence Summit events. Attendees at the event will vote to select the Gartner BI Excellence Award winner from the finalists. Click here to apply.
