Announcing the Senior Research Board for Cross-Research Issues
The Senior Research Board (SRB) provides oversight and guidance for cross-research issues. The SRB is tasked with ensuring that research position differences are resolved quickly and that these decisions support the best interests of the Gartner brand and business strategy. The SRB also provides cross-research guidance on high-level research themes.
The SRB's objectives are to:
- Guide and/or create cross-agenda research
- Develop broad scenarios that guide our overall research direction
- Ensure consistent and appropriate coverage
The SRB will focus on written research positions in documents, presentations or other forms of written deliverables from Gartner. They will also work on cross-team research coverage, positions and advice. Finally, they will highlight and suggest action on content coverage.
Members of the SRB include 11 very senior associates on our Research staff.
Inquiries regarding Gartner's objectivity should still be routed to ombudsman@gartner.com; however, do know that we will often call upon the SRB for issue resolution.
