Bedford, N.H., August 2, 2001 Vision Events, a Gartner, Inc. (NYSE: IT and ITB) company, today announced four events scheduled to take place this fall that will bring leading reseller executives face-to-face with the technology industry's top and emerging companies with which to do business.
"Now, more than ever, we're proud to offer companies events that deliver a strong return on investment," said Dennis Masella, vice president of marketing for Vision Events. "Our format of bringing leading vendors and resellers together through a combination of private boardroom appointments, one-one-one meetings, educational sessions and networking functions fosters successful business relationships while at the same time being cost-effective."
The fall 2001 Vision Events lineup includes the following events:
RetailVision More than 225 key decision makers representing the top 100 retailers, e-tailers, and direct marketers will attend RetailVision Fall to do business with more than 200 leading technology product vendors that service the retail channel. This event will be held September 4-7, 2001, at the Walt Disney World Dolphin, Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
e-tailVision has been rescheduled and will be co-located with RetailVision at the Walt Disney World Dolphin, September 4-6, 2001. This is the only event focused entirely on the online retail channel. For three days, e-tailVision will bring together top e-tail executives and decision makers with leading vendors of technology products, online solutions and fulfillment programs.
System Builder Summit More than 100 IT vendors, service providers, and international distributors will meet with more than 175 of the white box channel's regional market leaders from North America and Latin America at System Builder Summit to be held September 23-26, 2001, at the Hyatt Regency San Diego, San Diego, Calif.
VARVision will be held October 21-23, 2001, at the Desert Springs Marriott Resort and Spa, Palm Desert, Calif. VARVision focuses on the small and midsize business client, and this fall's event will deliver more boardrooms focused on vertical markets, including federal government, education, and retail. With an improved matching process, vendors and value-added resellers will maximize their VARVision experience through alignment by key product categories including storage, networking and many more. The highly focused, business-intensive environment of VARVision enables participants to establish new alliances and secure new business deals in just a matter of days.
