Paolillo, executive vice president and chief financial officer, have signed and filed a certification letter with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Comission (SEC) attesting to the accuracy of the Company's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the third fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2002.
The certification was made in compliance with the requirements contained in the recently passed Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, which requires CEOs and CFOs of publicly traded companies to certify any financial statements filed on or after July 30, 2002.
The certification was included as Exhibit 99 to the Company's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q filed on Friday, August 9, with the SEC, which can be found on Gartner's web site at http://www.gartner.com/investors and the SEC's web site at www.sec.gov.
