Intel President and CEO Dr. Craig Barrett to Address GartnerGroup Symposium/ITxpo '99 Audience in 'Masterminds Keynote Interview'
Stamford, Conn. -- Aug. 2, 1999 -- Gartner Group, Inc. (NYSE: IT) today announced that Intel Corp.'s president and CEO, Dr. Craig Barrett, will address attendees at the GartnerGroup Symposium/ITxpo '99, to be held October 11-15, 1999, in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
Participating in the 1999 "Masterminds Keynote Interview" on Tuesday, October 12, Dr. Barrett will offer candid comments on his company's strengths, strategies and competition, and will also provide insights into emerging technology trends ranging from connected computing to advanced networking issues.
Dr. Barrett, the fourth CEO in Intel's history, joins an impressive lineup slated for the Symposium/ITxpo '99 "Masterminds Keynote" series. Previously announced, other featured headliners will be Dell Computer Chairman and CEO Michael Dell, Microsoft President Steve Ballmer, and Novell Chairman and CEO Eric Schmidt. Each keynote industry executive will participate in spirited interviews conducted by leading GartnerGroup analysts.
