Best of VARVision Awards Recognize Outstanding Products, Solutions and Programs
Nashua, New Hampshire, October 27, 2000 - The most innovative technologies and strategies were selected by the leading value-added resellers during the "Best of VARVision Awards" at VARVision Fall 2000, recently held at the Hyatt Regency San Diego in San Diego, Calif. The "Best of VARVision Awards" are one of the industry's most prestigious awards because the winners are voted on by the leading companies in the VAR business. VARVision is produced by Vision Events, a Gartner Group, Inc. (NYSE: IT and ITB) company.
Winning products and companies were voted on by leading VARs after previewing, reviewing and evaluating the latest technology in private boardroom appointments during VARVision 2000 from October 15-18. These focused, confidential boardroom meetings are an integral part of the decision-making process that VARs undertake to select vendors whose products and programs lead the industry.
"The Best of VARVision Awards cite excellence not only in product technology, but also in reseller channel programs," said John Madden, event director for VARVision. "The nominees and award winners have demonstrated to the voters - 200 of the industry's leading value-added resellers and solution providers - a strong commitment to the channel and to providing innovative technology."
