Tole Hart is a research director for the Consumer group of the communications area of Gartner Technology & Service Provider Research. He is responsible for wireless services, primarily in the United States, Canada and Latin America, and for reports on U.S. wireless services trends, forecasts for Latin America, spectrum policy, mobile virtual network operations (MVNOs), mobile entertainment, mobile advertising, mobile applications, general wireless data, and end-user wants and needs studies.

Mr. Hart has spoken and written articles on such subjects as MVNOs, mobile Entertainment, wireless usage on airplanes, prepaid services, wireless substitution, regulatory and spectrum, consolidation and bundled wireless packages. Mr. Hart joined Dataquest with the 1997 acquisition of Northern Business Information (NBI), where he worked in a similar capacity. Before NBI, Mr. Hart worked at Frost & Sullivan where he was a profiles analyst and did a number of market research reports in the telecommunications area.
