Roles and Responsibilities
Carolina Milanesi is a research director in Gartner's Mobile Devices team and agenda manager for Mobile Devices. Ms. Milanesi leads the research for mobile devices worldwide and is responsible for the forecasting and market share effort in this area. Other areas of coverage are camera phones, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and digital audio and video on mobile phones.
Previous Experience
Ms. Milanesi joined Gartner in February 2000 as part of the Enterprise Network and Communication cluster, where her role encompassed in-depth research and statistical analysis of the network interface card market in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Other areas of research that fell within Ms. Milanesi's coverage were the interactive voice response market in Europe, the WLAN market worldwide, networking by line of business in Europe, and distribution channels worldwide. Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Milanesi worked for three years as a European surveys manager for NTC Research in Henley-on-Thames, U.K., specializing in economic and financial reports on the state of the Italian economy.
