Roles and Responsibilities
Graham Waller is a vice president and executive partner with Gartner Executive Programs. He supports CIO clients across variety of industries, assisting them in business-IT alignment and maximizing IT value.
Previous Experience
Waller came to Gartner as part of the META Group acquisition, where he led CIO-level research on transformational change as part of META Group's Executive Directions service. This included publishing a significant primary research, multiclient study entitled "CIO as Enterprise Change Agent", conference speaker engagements and serving as an expert analyst in numerous industry press articles on this topic.
Waller has more than 20 years of experience in driving business results and achieving measurable value from IT-enabled transformation. He has held both IT and business leadership positions within end-user and IT service provider Fortune 100 companies, including direct responsibility in the major disciplines of strategy, governance, IT portfolio management, e-commerce and CRM. He is a hybrid business/IT leader and recognized authority in the disciplines of IT value and benefits realization from technology investments.
Prior to joining META Group, Waller held a variety of IT and business leadership positions at a Fortune 50 company, including responsibility for IT strategy and governance, ERP strategic sourcing, as well as two years in a business role leading CRM within the online channel.
Earlier in his career, Waller worked within a major IT services firmÂs consulting practice, focusing on IT value realization, business process re-engineering, large-scale data warehousing and IT-enabled transformation initiatives.
