Roles and Responsibilities
Frank Ridder is a Research Vice President in Gartner Research in the area of IT services and sourcing. He mainly helps organizations through their complete sourcing activities for infrastructure services, including the data center and the end-user side. He is a leading author on multisourcing competencies, infrastructure utilities and cloud sourcing (for that, he won the Gartner Thought Leadership Award, 2012). Mr. Ridder manages the global IT services sourcing agenda. Prior to his work in the IT industry, he spent five years in the telecommunications industry. In addition to his work at Gartner, Mr. Ridder has lectured on IT services at the University of Applied Science in Neu-Ulm, Germany, since 2009.
Previous Experience
Before joining Gartner, Mr. Ridder led HP's outsourcing marketing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was responsible for all outbound marketing programs, analyst and press relations, sales development programs, and funnel development programs. Prior to that, he held various positions in national and international outsourcing sales, engagement, and client management.
