Roles and Responsibilities
Regina Casonato is managing vice president in Gartner Research. She manages the Information Infrastructure research team, which focuses on technologies, tools and approaches that provide for consistent access, organization, delivery and governance of structured and unstructured information to all consumers (users, applications, processes and so forth). The Information Infrastructure team focuses on a broad swath of technologies, including data management, document management, data warehousing, data quality, content management, document-centric process management, knowledge management and related infrastructure. The Information Infrastructure team supports five key research agendas: Enterprise Content Management, Data Management and Integration, Enterprise Information Management, Business Intelligence and Information Management, and High Performance Workplace. Ms. Casonato is also Gartner country leader for Italy.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Casonato held various management positions at Olivetti. She has 28 years of experience in the IT industry and is an acknowledged expert in the areas of knowledge management, high-performance workplace and business process management.
