Roles and Responsibilities
Bryan Lewis is a research vice president and group forecast director for Gartner's worldwide semiconductor team. Mr. Lewis leads a team of more than 30 semiconductor analysts to drive all aspects of the semiconductor forecast and collaborates with other group directors to formulate Gartner's top-level IT forecast. In addition to his overall forecast responsibilities, he is the lead analyst for system-on-a-chip (SoC), system-level integration (SLI), ASIC and FPGAs/PLDs. He has responsibility for tracking and evaluating market movements, forecasting markets, and tracking technology trends. Mr. Lewis joined Gartner in 1985 and started the ASIC/SoC/FPGA research coverage. He is a key speaker at numerous conferences and consults with a wide range of worldwide clients.
Previous Experience
Before joining Gartner, Mr. Lewis was a research manager for a semiconductor market research company. His responsibilities included establishing and managing a primary research group as well as performing research on GaAs ASICs.
