After a disastrous, "abnormal" decline in demand for hard-disk drives during 4Q08, we expected to see a seasonally "normal" downturn in demand during 1Q09, and we saw it. But we did not expect to see dramatic surges in demand in 2Q09 coupled with unprecedented inventory control in March and June.
