Our preliminary statistics show that server shipments in 3Q09 declined by 16.8% compared with 3Q08, with shipments totaling just under 2 million units. Despite year-over-year volume declines continuing into 3Q09, 14.4% growth in 3Q09, compared with the second quarter of 2009, is a positive sign.
