Gartner conducted field research encompassing 17 end-user organizations that are early adopters of internal/private cloud infrastructure as a service (IaaS). Although each organization had unique strategy, architecture, and implementation details, considerable similarities existed among the participants. In this field research summary, Research VP Chris Wolf reveals the key insights customers learned on their journey to internal/private cloud.
