Many IT organizations are looking to connect infrastructure as a service (IaaS) environments to leverage the security and familiarity of internal deployments with the scalability and elasticity of external deployments. To meet this need, many independent software and hardware vendors are proposing solutions for bridging the hybrid-cloud gap that exists among IaaS clouds.
