Gartner is lowering its PC unit forecast for 2011 and 2012, based on expectations of weaker demand for mobile consumer PCs. In the near term, expected 2011 PC unit growth has been lowered to 10.5%, and 2012 growth reduced to 13.6%; the long-term growth forecast has been raised slightly.
