Bob Anderson is Research Vice President responsible for ERP strategy and market intelligence, with a particular focus on financial management, service industries, "app stores" and marketplaces. With a substantial background in product management, as well as marketing of production/transactional systems, he spent 17 years at Digital Equipment Corporation ("DEC") and was one of the founding members of its Transaction Processing Resource Center. He also has spent 18 years working at Gartner in various roles, including SMB Research Director for ERP, Wholesale Distribution Industry Analyst, and SMB Research Agenda Manager. His experience allows him to advise senior leaders from the user community, as well as from the vendor community.
