Mr. Wallin joined Gartner in April 2005 with the acquisition of Meta Group, where he led the mobile infrastructure research on a global basis. Prior to joining Meta Group in April 2001, Mr. Wallin was vice president of European operations at Surgency (formerly Benchmarking Partners), where he led a research practice on the mobile Internet and helped build European presence. Previously, he was chief technology officer for Industri-Matematik International, a recognized leading supplier of supply chain execution solutions.
