Yefim Natis is a Vice President, Distinguished Analyst and Research Fellow in Gartner Research. Mr. Natis' work focuses on enterprise platform innovation, including platform as a service (PaaS), cloud-enabled application platforms and PaaS frameworks. His interests include context-aware computing, especially the use of context mining architecture models to support context-aware decisions in digital business and IoT. Mr. Natis also researches the fundamental software architecture models, including event-driven (EDA) and service-oriented (SOA) architectures, microservices (MSA), software-defined architecture (SDA) and other emerging architecture models.

Mr. Natis' experience also includes IT architecture and IT management positions at Hogan Systems and Citigroup. He has 30 years of experience in enterprise IT.
