Yefim Natis is a Vice President, Distinguished Analyst and Research Fellow in Gartner Research. Mr. Natis' work focuses on enterprise platform innovation, including platform as a service (PaaS), PaaS frameworks and the traditional application platforms. Mr. Natis also researches the fundamental software architecture models, including event-driven (EDA) and service-oriented (SOA) architectures, microservices (MSA), software-defined architecture (SDA), the cloud-native serverless micro-computing and other emerging architecture models. His interests include the implications of "big data" context mining and algorithmic decision automation on architecture of applications.

Mr. Natis' experience also includes IT architecture and IT management positions at Hogan Systems and Citigroup. He has 30 years of experience in enterprise IT.
