Roles and Responsibilities
Bryan Lewis is a Research Vice President and group forecast director for Gartner's worldwide semiconductor and consumer device teams. Mr. Lewis leads a team of more than 30 semiconductor analysts to drive all aspects of the semiconductor forecast and collaborates with other group directors to formulate Gartner's top-level IT forecast. Mr. Lewis recently took on management responsibility for consumer device forecasts, including PCs, media tablets and mobile phones. In addition to his overall forecast responsibilities, he is the lead analyst for system-on-chip (SoC), system-level integration (SLI), ASIC and FPGAs/PLDs. He has responsibility for tracking and evaluating market movements, forecasting markets, and tracking technology trends. Mr. Lewis joined Gartner in 1985 and started the ASIC/SoC/FPGA research coverage. He is a key speaker at numerous conferences and consults with a wide range of worldwide clients.
