Reimagining the Application Organization in a Product-Oriented World

Traditionally, application organizations chose silos, systems integrator models or factories as an organizational design construct. Moving to digital business models, which are formed around platforms and products and include new product-oriented roles, puts stress on most organizations, since they need to keep one foot in the "old" world and another facing forward. We'll talk about the new roles necessary and how to reimagine the product and project focused organization many organizations will need to maintain.

Roundtable: Creating the Product-Based Application Organization

As organizations move toward a product-based delivery model, they need to reimagine how they will be structured. Literally everything changes, from the design of the organization itself, to how the organization is governed and financed, to how it is composed from a roles and skills perspective. Attendees should be prepared to discuss their own organizations and how they have structured for success, and the pain points they have experienced.

Meet the analysts face to face.
