Mark Lockwood is a Research Director in the Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) team. He works in the Cloud and Virtualization Strategy group, specializing in end-user computing. Current areas of focus include hosted virtual desktops, application delivery and virtualization. 

Mr. Lockwood has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, including 14 years at Eli Lilly and Company, where he served as Virtualization Architect and End-User Computing Architect.

Before joining Gartner, Mr. Lockwood was an Architect for VDI, BYOD, server virtualization, internal cloud and workspace aggregation.
