Mindy Cancila works as a Research Vice President in Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) and is the agenda manager for public cloud. Current areas of research include cloud adoption strategy, comparing and selecting public cloud service providers for IaaS, and cloud management.

Before joining Gartner, Ms. Cancila worked for four years in Dell’s Enterprise Strategy group researching cloud adoption patterns to help define the private and hybrid cloud strategy. She also spent two years focused on Dell’s storage strategy, including software-defined storage and scale-out architectures. Prior to joining Dell, Ms. Cancila worked for 10 years at HP, focused on x86 server hardware and software development and program management.
