Gartner has reserved room blocks at hotels in close proximity to the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre.  Attendees will need to register for Symposium/ITxpo before booking their hotel. Once you have registered online the full hotel details, room types and pricing will be available in order for you to select and book your hotel.  A credit card will be required to secure your booking.

Demand for rooms is high and hotels sold out 5 weeks in advance of the event in 2014. Please ensure you book your hotel as soon as possible. Gartner expects an increased demand for hotels in the Gold Coast area in 2015.

The Gold Coast has its own domestic airport at Coolangatta, just 20 minutes south of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre with regular flights from all capital cities. Services are provided domestically by three airlines, Virgin Blue, Tiger and Jetstar, and internationally through multiple Airlines. Brisbane International Airport is located just a one hour drive from Broadbeach.

Taxi’s are available throughout the Gold Coast and operate on a metered system.  The approximate cost from the Gold Coast Coolangatta Airport to the Gold Coast Convention Centre is AUD$65, the approximate cost from the Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast Convention Centre is AUD$290.

By Public Transport
To get to and from the Brisbane Airport, the closest train station is called Nerang. It is about 15 minutes by taxi or you can also catch a Surfside bus.
There is a bus stop directly in front of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Gold Coast Highway. There are also taxi and limousine ranks at the main entrance. You can also access the rail line to Brisbane via a bus from Jupiters Hotel and Casino.

G:Link (Light Rail)
There’s a new way to get around the central Gold Coast with G:link, Queensland’s first light rail system. Fast, frequent trams connect 16 stations along a 13 kilometre route from Broadbeach to Gold Coast University Hospital.  Guests staying at the Crowne Plaza will be able to enjoy a short one stop journey to the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo with the G:link stop directly outside the hotel and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre!
