Responsibilities:

    We currently have an exciting opportunity to move into IT analysis within the Gartner Client Services Team. The team provides practical and focused research, key data and advice to Gartner Research clients by leveraging Gartner research assets to specific client requirements.

    The Client Enquiry Specialist must develop close business relationships with clients and a thorough understanding of emerging issues, trends and opportunities in IT in both domestic and international markets. The successful candidate will also need to become familiar with sources of expert and specialty advice and available existing research within Gartner. This will enable the Client Enquiry Specialist to personally assist or identify expert sources within Gartner to provide research-related assistance.

    Included in this role will be the responsibility to take ownership of and co-ordinate to conclusion client inquiries and requirements. Proactive account management including canvassing client satisfaction with Gartner services is part of the client relationship maintenance and development process. Interaction with the analyst community and staying current on broad issues as well as a particular specialisation will be required.

Qualifications:

    Ideally we seek a confident, well-organised person who can comprehend and work a complex client problem through to completion and who has the ability to communicate to a high standard with customers, peers and management.

    An IT related bachelor degree will be highly regarded and a minimum of 2-3 years business related experience is essential.
