Our Inside Account Executives build and grow strategic relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers. They sell Gartner products and service via the telephone and strategically plan each and every renewal.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with accounts with revenues of $50 million to over 1 billion to build relationships and develop delighted customers who renew their services on a regular basis.
  • Manage a sales territory of approximately $2.M in contract value, as well as, a pipeline that will deliver the quotas assigned to you.
  • Maintain a retention rate of 80% to 100% within their assigned territory.
  • Produce new business within the client territory that meets the quota guidelines.
  • Forecast new business and renewal of existing business on a monthly basis with a +/- 10% accuracy rate.
  • Attain all established individual indicators, objectives, quotas and guidelines.
  • Produce and maintain an accurate client database.
  • Provide the client base with the latest in Gartner offerings, and product enhancements.
  • Continually stay abreast of new product offers and technology.
  • Attend all company sponsored training sessions and apply learned techniques to sales function.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred OR 4 years business experience - 2 of which must have been in a sales environment
  • Must be able to thrive in a quota driven environment
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Understanding and aptitude for the Information Technology Industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and conduct effective client presentations via the telephone
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team environment
