Responsibilities:
As a Research Director, the candidate will be responsible for being a thought leader in the area of IT Performance Management and IT Finance. As such, this Research Director will be required to develop and fulfill a research agenda, which addresses the needs of CIO's and CIO direct reports at Global 2000 companies. Fulfillment shall take the form of written research notes, strategic analysis reports, presentation content, client briefings, and consulting engagements. The Research Director will be expected to effectively communicate his agenda to his analyst peers and drive collaboration around his topic area. In addition, the Research Director will be expected to present his research findings at conferences, client consulting engagements, and to the media. The candidate will work collaboratively with other analysts to develop and brand original methodologies for measuring IT performance.

Qualifications:
- The candidate will need to have at least 15 years experience as a senior IT professional (direct report to CIO or CFO).
- This experience should entail activities such as IT strategic planning, IT & business alignment, performance measurement & management, IT financial justification, business process/project management, and M&A.
- Ideally the candidate will have at least 10 years experience in one of the following vertical industries: Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Automotive, Energy, Manufacturing, Retail, or Wholesale.
