Responsibilities:
- Lead, and participate on, consulting teams through strategy development efforts, including market, channel, competitive, product, alliance and other strategies
- Ensure high quality, profitability, and timely delivery of strategy engagements
- Develop and maintain client relationships - sell engagements
- Develop consulting methodology and provide mentorship to other consulting professionals
- Perform financial analysis
- Provide thought leadership and advisory services in business development roles
- Leverage Gartner research and analysis into actionable strategic analysis on client's behalf
- Guide primary research efforts in conjunction with Gartner's primary researchers

Qualifications:
- 7+ years post-MBA experience
- Minimum of 5 years consulting experience from top management consulting firm strongly preferred,
MBA from top program
- 4-10 years relevant / related post undergraduate work experience, preferably engineering, HW/SW development, or banking/M&A
- Experience within a strategy management consulting firm
- Exposure working for a high-tech vendor
Skill requirements:
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills in the following areas: business strategy development, business planning, M&A, market assessment, go-to-market and channel strategy.
- Expertise with strategic consulting frameworks and tools.
- Must have excellent project management skills, professionalism, and strong work ethic and willingness to travel.
Domain Expertise:
- High Tech industry experience e.g. Business Applications, Middleware, Software, Systems, Semiconductors, Telecom, Networking, Services, and Integration.
Horizontal:
Experience within the high tech industry e.g. Sourcing, Business Process Outsourcing, Product Development, Supply Chain Management, Channel Development, R&D, Product Management, Corporate Strategy, Market Analysis, Competitive Analysis, financial modeling, Venture Capital.
