An Account Manager is an office based sales role with joint ownership and responsibility for the retention and growth of existing client revenue. Primarily the focus is on maximising the value that clients receive from their existing investment with Gartner. Secondly to identify and generate growth opportunities within the assigned client base and close these opportunities as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts to ensure retention and growth
Sell Gartner products and services to the respective territory by telephone
Strategically plan each and every renewal
Understand business issues for purchasing Gartner services with key decision makers (C level)
Work with accounts to build and develop relationships
Partner with external sales in assigned territory of approximately 6-10 named accounts
Provide regular forecasts on target attainment
Qualifications:
Graduate calibre
Fluent English plus one other fluent language (see above)
1+ year sales experience within technology field
Team player
Able to thrive in a quota driven environment
Must be PC literate
Strong business acumen
Excellent communication and inter-departmental skills
