Summary:

The successful candidate will have the ability to administer, manage and execute a number of [multi-faceted] relationships with Gartner's largest, most sophisticated clients. This individual will be required to [simultaneously] establish and maintain working relationships with various internal entities to create a comprehensive, well designed, sustainable set of key deliverables (including targeted research, scripted analyst sessions, involvement with appropriate events, etc.) This position also requires the ability to identify and guide non-EP activities for the clients such as Research, Consulting, G2, and Measurement engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of Executive Program services (such as advice and counsel to CIO's on areas such as strategy, governance, organization, architecture, synthesis of Gartner research to assist client with application to their environment, assisting with member networking) to EP members and Multi-member accounts
  • Heavy relationship-building responsibilities - and ability to manage multiple relationships in "sensitive" [organizational] situations
  • Achieving a pre-defined client renewal rate
  • Acting as primary point of interface between EP and Sales to service existing client agendas, as well as educating/meeting with prospective clients
  • Planning and participating re: shared client facing activities in with other EP associates in the region(i.e. events, client communities)
  • Create / maintain electronic client profile information including contact, relationship and sales information on a near real-time basis
  • Provide regular communication / support / education and participation of Sales Associates to achieve company goals
Other Accountabilities:
  • Facilitate member interactions locally and within communities of interest
  • Active participation in the creation and delivery of EP Research/content to clients
  • Develop subject-matter expertise, and be recognized in those areas
  • Drive attendance / attend / assist across various Gartner events
Qualifications:

  • University graduate (Masters preferred) with a minimum of 10 years experience working in a management role in an IT capacity
  • In-depth understanding of the IT industry and the role of the CIO (including Leadership, IT Operations Management, strategy and trends, use of metrics, etc.), as well as depth in business strategy and management
  • High tolerance / ability to lead and manage though ambiguous situations
  • Excellent Relationship Management competency including experience working with "C level" executives
  • Superior verbal, written, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Team leader in a cross-organizational environment. Ability to establish strong relationships and successfully influence across a variety of Gartner constituencies and levels.
  • Strong analytic and problem solving competencies at the management/executive level
  • Demonstrable sales and/or business development experience with senior "C-Level" executives
  • Strong Time and Project management skills.
