Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple global technology-based projects and programs in support of Gartner's WEB sites
- Understand and support the strategic technology plan for Gartner web technologies group
- Demonstrate full ownership for Gartner Web Sites, and oversee initiatives
- Proactively monitor initiatives in other Business Units to ensure alignment to WEB initiatives
- Once business case is established, work with Business Unit & STG personnel to determine technical solutions, assess impact, refine scope & business needs, & estimate project effort
- Plan, schedule, prioritize, monitor project activities, resources & budget
- Negotiate tradeoffs on scope vs. timeline and budget
- Continually assess project risks, and seek ways to mitigate risks
- Make prioritization recommendations based on estimated return and/or benefit to the business
- Conduct business analysis for assigned projects, by ascertaining and documenting business objectives and requirements
- Recommend process, organizational, and system changes to support business and project objectives.
- Lead, guide, and manage project team members
- Manage urgent changes off-cycle
- Work with website business owners on business strategic direction

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 10+ years Business and Technology Experience
- 5+ Project Management Experience, and specifically experience managing WEB oriented projects
- Preferred certifications include PMI's, PMP, or related experience
- Preference for candidate with experience in commercial web site deployments
- Strong Business Analysis skills (gathering requirements, writing specifications and Use Cases, testing, etc.)
- Proven track record in developing viable options, recommended solutions to address business and technical needs
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Solid understanding of programming and relational database concepts
- Hands on experience using Microsoft Project
