Summary:
Product Management includes business management and revenue responsibility for our key product families such as Research and Dataquest. Because these two businesses combined represent a significant part of our business, our success depends on a focused management discipline. The Product Management function for Dataquest will have responsibility for developing the market strategy, as well as ensuring the successful on-going management of current offerings in the portfolio. The Business Leader will manage lead a small team of region and product managers, as well as work closely with the Research Strategy and Project Management Office. The Business Leader's responsibilities for the Dataquest product offerings include: product definition, ongoing product decisions and maintenance and client communication strategies. But, most importantly will work closely with the sales organization to drive Research growth. |

Responsibilities:
- Business development strategy including determining the business plan and key strategies by offering and target audiences
- Management for profit/ performance objectives
- Maintaining product/service roadmap including specifying product value proposition, product specifications, and service specifications and product pricing strategy
- Managing relationships with peers in the Research Business Development team including: strategy, client operations, and marketing
- Champion investment decisions in new products and retirement decisions
- Building and managing the DQ the team.
- Provide input to research content/agenda to meet market needs
- Serve as the single point of contact for all ongoing product decisions and client communication strategies
- Provides input to sales on channel development
- Specifies marketing programs to support business goals
- Ensures that client communications support growth/retention goals
- Inputs market needs to research business strategy group

Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in research to support technology product and service providers
- Deep sense of customer needs and an in-depth knowledge of competitive offerings and directions.
- Rich experience in business planning and execution, including predicting and tracking ROI.
- Experience launching new products into new markets.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills.
- Strong analytical skills required.
