Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and Refine Functional Requirements to successfully implement business process using Oracle Applications.
  • Develop technical specifications to guide applications developers to translate design into code.
  • Configure Oracle Application modules to meet and support business requirements
  • Provide guidance and troubleshoot development related issues to ensure on budget and on time completion of project.
  • Enhance and support best practices for Oracle Applications implementation to develop a world-class IT support organization.
  • Responsible for the creation of technical and functional specifications in the module areas assigned.
  • Works with functional team to understand business requirements and translates them into technical specifications.
  • Ensures that functional specifications and requirements are transformed into clear and concise technical specifications. Will develop as well.
  • Will act as developer as well to ensure developed program meets Gartner business requirements.
  • Facilitates functional team design walk-throughs.
  • Develops and Participates in the testing process through applying fundamental unit testing concepts to programs developed to ensure they meet functional requirements.
  • Where necessary, responsible for the development and unit testing of application programs (interfaces, conversions, reports, or workflows).
Qualifications:

  • Eight plus years of experience in Systems Analysis, Design and Development of processes.
  • Functional and Technical knowledge of Oracle Financials - GL, AR, AP, FA, PO.
  • Experience with a minimum of two full lifecycle Oracle Applications implementations.
  • Knowledge of Oracle CRM, a plus.
  • Solid programming skills in SQL, PL/SQL (Java, Javascript, HTML, XML a plus).
  • Strong Technical knowledge and experience of Oracle Applications Open Interfaces, APIs, Workflow.
  • Custom PLLs and zoom functions.
  • Experience with database query tuning and ability to troubleshoot Oracle Application Issues regarding setups, flexfields, concurrent manager processing etc.
  • Experience in programming with Oracle Forms and Reports, using PL/SQL library.
