This role is fundamental to increasing Gartner's market penetration by expanding existing accounts and sourcing new business.
You will have a thorough understanding of emerging issues and opportunities in the business environment and understand how these relate to trends and developments in the IT industry. Using this insight you will consult with senior executives to identify opportunities to develop and implement effective enterprise wide strategies that maximise the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.
You have the demonstrated ability to build excellent client relationships, offering insight and strategic input to their business objectives and successfully close high value integrated service offerings.
Crucial success measurements are client revenue retention, revenue growth/maximisation, and client loyalty. Ideally you will have gained this experience over several years in a consultative selling role in an integrated global sales team focussed on an agreed growth strategy for large clients.
You are a confident, focussed, over achiever with a high level of professionalism and integrity. Your ability to identify opportunities, influence outcomes and work effectively in a high-pressure environment will serve you well in this position.
