Summary:
The Associate Director is expected to independently manage small to medium sized project teams, and is considered to be fully proficient in full delivery of one or more Consulting service offerings (e.g., Business Strategy, IT strategy, enterprise solutions, sourcing, architecture, etc.).

Responsibilities:
- Meet with senior members in a client's organization, develop project questions, and gain a deep understanding of the client environment and culture
- Analyze findings, develop key insights, create actionable recommendations, prepare presentations, and also present results to senior executives in the client organization
- Conduct research as necessary, including market surveys of vendors and users as well as secondary research.
- Debate opinions, test understanding, and clarify judgments proactively with team members and subject matter experts
- Depending on project size, incumbent may supervise other personnel, assign work, establish and maintain schedules, control project expenses and integrate individual work into a coherent and quality deliverable.
- Contribute intellectual capital to Consulting's knowledge base
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities and leads, which may come from meetings, clients, other consultants, sales force, vendors and others.
- Write and present proposals to prospective clients and contacts for engagements.
- Actively lead and pursue follow on opportunities at existing clients.
- Complete additional projects as required.

Qualifications:
At least 5 years of "hands on" management consulting experience in conducting strategy level consulting projects in one or more IT markets - Software, Communications, Infrastructure and Services . Experience with one or more - channel strategies, market segmentation and analysis, product strategy, pricing strategy, partner strategy.
- A general knowledge of a broad range of technologies.
- Excellent understanding of IT and its business implications.
- Surveying and statistical analysis skills would be helpful.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Graduate level degree, preferably MPA, MBA, MS in information systems.
- Track record in project managing large strategy level consulting engagements.
