We have an opportunity for a senior level ERP expert & thought leader to join the prestige brand in IT research, consulting and advice.

Gartner Research is a global team of dedicated subject experts who work to create Gartner?s marketing leading knowledge base and key intellectual property.

Reporting to the Vice President of Enterprise Operations you will be responsible for building a body of research through developing relationships with major industry ERP vendors, interpreting market data and preparing reports with a particular emphasis on the ERP market. The focus will be on key trends in the region and markets within Asia Pacific.

You will have a deep understanding and keen insight into trends, new developments and issues in ERP across Asia Pacific to the extent that you will be able to actively contribute to the global agenda of the Gartner research community and support the sales force when required.

To be successful you require +10 years experience preferably from an ERP vendor strategy or implementation background you may previously have worked as an ERP Product Director or similar with a major vendor, IT services firm or ERP practice leader in consulting firm. You will also require outstanding writing and presentation skills and a strong ability to interpret complex statistical data. You will need the ability to work independently in a remote location and be prepared to travel regionally and globally for client interactions.

We seek a pro-active, extremely well organised person who can work effectively autonomously as well as contribute to the greater team. Excellent all round communication skills are crucial.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are essential.
