Summary:

The successful candidate will have the ability to administer, manage and execute a number of [multi-faceted] relationships with Gartner's largest, most sophisticated clients. This individual will be required to [simultaneously] establish and maintain working relationships with various **internal** entities to create a comprehensive, well designed, sustainable set of key deliverables (including targeted research, scripted analyst sessions, involvement with appropriate events, etc.) This position also requires the ability to identify and guide non-EXP activities for the clients such as Consulting, G2, and Measurement engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of all services to Executive Programs members and Multi-member accounts.
  • Maintaining a pre-defined target client renewal rate (2005's rate is 87%).
  • Acting as primary point of interface between EP and Sales for existing and prospective clients.
  • Planning and participating re: shared client facing activities in with other EP associates in the region (i.e. events, client communities).
  • Create / maintain client profile information including contact, relationship and sales information on a near real-time basis.
  • Provide regular communication / support / education and participation with Sales Account Executives and Area Managers to drive the sales efforts in the regions.
Other Accountabilities:
  • Facilitate member interactions locally and within communities of interest... (Presentation/discussion facilitation of EXP Research at Local Roundtables and other EXP/Gartner events.).
  • Develop synergistic revenues by partnering with Sales and other Gartner Lines of Business.
  • Maintain relationships with EP Alumni in region.
  • Active participation in the creation and delivery of EP Research/content to clients.
  • Develop personal competencies and be recognized as SME in those areas. Deliver content to clients related to those competencies.
Qualifications:

  • University graduate (Masters preferred) with a minimum of 10 years experience working in a senior management role in an IT capacity.
  • In-depth understanding of the IT industry and the role of the CIO (including Leadership, IT Operations.
  • Management, strategy and trends, use of metrics, etc.)
  • High tolerance / evolved ability to lead and manage ambiguous situations.
