Summary:

The Regional Leader's responsibilities for the Research product offerings include: providing regional input into ongoing product decisions, supporting global market strategies, driving regional retention strategies and most importantly working closely with the sales organization to drive Research growth within a geographic region.

Responsibilities:

  • Regional Lead Focus:
  • Manage a portfolio of product families that achieve both growth and profitability objectives
  • Responsible for regional growth plan to include client retention, acquisition (NCVI); cross-sell & up-sell programs
  • Responsible for regional CV performance: Monitors performance and recommends actions
  • Provides regional input to product decisions e.g. on regional coverage
  • Specifies required marketing investments
  • Provide insight into regional fulfillment demands and trends
  • Provides market and product expertise to support Sales
  • Partners with Sales on business development initiatives, bids and renewals
  • Specifies awareness & lead generation programs to RBD marketing
  • Represents and implements worldwide initiatives at a regional level.
  • Tests and forecasts new products concepts
  • Ensures that segment/product communications are appropriate to regional market / RBD goals.
  • Provides regional competitive intelligence
  • Works with regional analysts and sales to identify business development opportunities
  • Develops regional market segmentation and value proposition
  • Implements regional market research
  • Regularly meets client & prospects - provides 'voice of the customer' input to decision-making
  • Manages user groups/ client councils (as requested)
  • Oversees regional market research and client satisfaction measurement
  • Success Factors:

  • Interprets Gartner's strategy and directs action to address client/customer key enterprise issues at the highest levels

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience working with technology and service providers
  • Deep sense of customer needs and an in-depth knowledge of competitive offerings and directions.
  • Extensive experience working with sales
  • Rich experience in business planning and execution, including predicting and tracking ROI.
  • Experience working with senior level IT executives.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
