Summary:

The Training Specialist plays a role to deliver high quality training to the EMEA region within and outside of the Client Services Organization; participates with selecting training techniques, tools; organizes content training; assist with aligning learning and development of department goals/strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Define implement and ensure high quality training needs for EMEA new hire Client Service specialists based on the global foundation across all regions.
  • Participate in focus groups with global associates to gather data on training needs, including but not limited to management skills, product knowledge, job performance skills and standard business content/process development.
  • Work with Sr. Training Specialist and/or WW Training Manager to select training techniques, tools (web based/classroom/CBT) and Vendor solutions, where appropriate, to enhance the training curriculum.
  • Assist in the develop and design of instructional tools, training-operational feedback processes to develop training programs that are relevant, timely and attuned to the needs of the department.
  • Organize weekly analyst and monthly KS presentations to improve associates IT Knowledge.
  • Invite other CSO business units to attend the presentations.
  • Provide EMEA wide training on Enquiry tracking, scheduling tools and new/changed product deliverables.
  • Discuss and co-ordinate the use of other business units' resources for training purposes.
  • Assist in the development of quantitative analysis of training results and track key metrics to measure the effects and changes to staff performance.
  • Work with Gartner University to align learning and development of department goals/strategy of the entire organization and to present EMEA Client Services overview to all new Gartner Associates.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects for Shared Services or Management where required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent in Training/Education
  • 5 years work experience - mentoring/coaching a plus
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
  • Experience within a Client Service or Training environment, with knowledge of business and system tools and processes.
  • Demonstrate superior process mgt and training skills
  • Implement new, consistent, WW processes
