Responsibilities:

  • Sales Mgt: Achieve Account Growth
  • Increase overall spending through leveraging existing client relationships - prior spending compared to current spending.
  • Achieve Client and Revenue Retention - with client organizations.
  • Provide Career Planning and Development
  • Develop Account Strategy.
  • Quota/Activity and Pipeline management
  • Assist with Skills and knowledge transfer
  • Participate on calls, leading and listening.
  • Taking a leadership role in the account planning and management of opportunities, where appropriate.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the marketplace, Gartner's blueprint and business model and the products and services.
  • Must be able to articulate Gartner's strategy.
  • Proactive focus on needs of clients, future anticipated needs and capabilities of Gartner to address those needs.
  • Forecasting: It is expected that each IAM and their respective team submit timely forecasts and that forecast accuracy fall within a range of +/- 10%.
  • Associate Development will include coaching (i.e. providing feedback) & Rep Development (i.e. scorecard, career path development, etc.)
  • Consistency: Associate Development and Performance Management will reinforce the skills, traits and result expectations laid out in the IAE Roles and Responsibilities document. This will ensure the consistency across AOC.
  • Recognition: Focus on only those skills, traits and results that reflect the expectations communicated in the IAE Roles and Responsibilities document.
  • Encourage and Champion training.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required (Business, Marketing IT), Masters Degree preferred (Business).
  • Requires previous Successful Gartner Sales experience,
  • Proven ability to understand enterprise wide issues and to structure innovative, integrated solutions that provide IT decision support to global organizations in achieving their business goals.
  • Technical/Functional knowledge and competencies include IT Sales Management experience, Sales Process Management (forecasting, plan and review), Computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word),
  • Communication Skills - verbal and written
