Agenda Tracks

Track A: IT Operations Excellence; Driving Quality of Service
IT operations is the key to delivering business benefits of improved ROI, managing and improving quality of services and lowering business risk. In this track we examine the increasingly complex and changing infrastructure, services (in-house, outsourced and cloud) and application environment and propose organizational, process and technology solutions to deliver business benefits rapidly without disrupting the business. We also examine the trends and best practices in IT operations. This track will focus on IT operations management trends and disruptions, and provides practical advice on achieving excellence and contributing to business value now.

Track B: Hardware Infrastructure; Today and Tomorrow
Organizations increasingly perceive raw infrastructure as a commodity. However, this infrastructure of servers, client devices, networks, storage etc. is the foundation for any data centre. Get this choice wrong and the layers built on top will come crumbling down. Given the recent market turmoil, new entrants and consolidation in this area, this track will cover how to choose the right strategic technologies for servers, networks, storage, and clients and how they will evolve in the future. It will also examine any emerging trends and best practices in this area.

Track C: Data Centre 2015; Evolution or Revolution
A decade into the 21st century data centre managers are not only facing traditional data centre facility issues but are being hit with a list of new challenges. The growing interest in green IT initiatives, the obsolescence of data centres based on power and cooling issues, and the impact of virtualisation are just a few of the new concerns. Even just measuring the efficiency of their data centres is a daunting task. Data centre managers are continuing to grapple with cost, technology, people, location, and environmental issues, while continuing to deliver a highly available, secure, flexible infrastructure as the foundation for the business's mission-critical applications.
