WHAT?
We are pleased to announce that Gartner and 1to1 Media have joined forces on a unique awards program that will highlight companies that are making a big impact through their customer relationship strategy and are achieving an unrivaled level of excellence in delivering the customer experience.
If you have recently implemented a successful customer-based business strategy with resulting business impact, don't miss out on the opportunity to publicize this accomplishment and honor those responsible for its success. Gartner and 1to1 Media are now accepting nominations for their first joint customer awards. Formerly the 1to1 Impact Awards and the Gartner CRM Excellence awards respectively, winners of the Gartner & 1to1 Media Customer Awards will be announced at the Gartner Customer Relationship Management Summit, September 8-10, 2008, taking place at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC. Winners will also be featured in the September/October 2008 issue of 1to1 Magazine, in a special issue of 1to1 Weekly and on both the Gartner Events and 1to1 Media web sites.
Winners will be honored in the following seven categories:- Customer Strategy: excellence in establishing an enterprise-wide customer strategy
- Enterprise CRM Optimization: excellence in the use of full-suite technology.
- Marketing Optimization: excellence in the use of marketing automation.
- New Media Optimization: excellence in the use of new media.
- Organizational Transformation: excellence in establishing an enterprise-wide customer strategy that creates a win-win for company and customers.
- Sales Optimization: excellence in the use of sales-force automation.
- Service Optimization: excellence in customer service and support that is enabled by technology.
In addition, three winners will be chosen as finalists for the User's Choice Award presented for excellence in delivering outstanding customer experiences. Finalist will present their cases to attendees at the Gartner Customer Relationship Management Summit. The User's Choice winner will be selected by attendees at the event.
The prestigious panel of judges includes: Gartner analysts, 1to1 Media and business and academic experts who will review all the nominations and choose Gartner & 1to1 Customer Award winners in each category, as well as choose the finalists for the first 2008 User's Choice Award.

WHEN?
Important Dates:
- Award winners for the seven categories will be contacted by June 30th 2008
- Three finalists for the 2008 User's Choice Award will be contacted by August 1st 2008
WHERE?
Award Presentations:
Award winners will be presented at the Gartner Customer Relationship Management Summit, scheduled for September 10-12, 2008 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC.
Finalist for the User's Choice Award for excellence in delivering outstanding customer experiences will be asked to present their case study to conference delegates at the Gartner Customer Relationship Management Summit. The delegate's feedback will determine the winner. The winner will be announced the final day of the conference.
