Gartner & 1to1 Customer Awards
WHAT?
Gartner and 1to1 Media are again joining forces to highlight companies making a big impact through their customer relationship strategy and achieving an unrivaled level of excellence in delivering the customer experience. Formerly the 1to1 Impact Awards and the Gartner CRM Excellence awards respectively, the Gartner & 1to1 Customer Awards honors winners in seven categories:
- Customer Strategy: excellence in establishing an enterprise-wide customer strategy
- Enterprise CRM Optimization: excellence in the use of full-suite CRM technology.
- Marketing Optimization: excellence in the use of marketing automation.
- New Media Optimization: excellence in the use of Web 2.0 and new media applications.
- Organizational Transformation: excellence in transforming a product- or sales-driven organization to a customer-centric one
- Sales Optimization: excellence in the use of sales-force automation.
- Service Optimization: excellence in customer service and support that is enabled by technology.
All winners will be presented with their awards during the Gartner Customer Relationship Management Summit, September 14-16, 2009, at the Westin Kierland Resort, Scottsdale, Arizona. They will also be featured in the Fall 2009 issue of 1to1 Magazine, in a special issue of 1to1 Weekly and on both the Gartner Events and 1to1 Media web sites. In addition, three winners will be chosen from among the category honorees and awarded Customer Experience Excellence Awards. These winners will be invited to present their cases to attendees and participate in an interactive panel forum at the Summit.
The prestigious panel of judges includes Gartner analysts, 1to1 Media editors and business and academic experts who will review all the nominations and choose Gartner & 1to1 Customer Award winners in each category, as well as the three winners for the 2009 Customer Experience Excellence Awards.

- Entry deadline for submissions is Friday, 3 June 2009.
- Award winners for the seven categories will be contacted by Friday, 3 July 2009
- Winners of the 2009 Customer Experience Excellence Award will be contacted by Friday, 10 July 2009
