Recent priorities have been centered around cutting IT costs, and other tactical ways to continue operating in this difficult Global environment. However, these conditions will not last forever. Economic conditions will improve, and a restructured market will emerge. What will this market look like? Will we be ready for it? What should we be doing now to come out strong in the next cycle?

During this interactive session, we will examine two major topics in the above context:

• IT efficiency management: This is not just about cost management, but examines overall management of IT resources, and the value they can add to the business in the next cycle.
• Customer experience management: We no longer decide how our customers deal with us, they do. This will be especially true in the next cycle. What we used to consider as CRM must be taken to a whole new level, enabling us to create a robust experience for our customers, know our customers better than we ever have, and use that knowledge to leverage our business globally.

Meeting Format:

A Gartner analyst will set the stage with a brief presentation on the topic. Workgroups will be formed, facilitated by Gartner analysts, wherein the topic will be discussed, best practices identified, and findings of each workgroup will be presented by an analyst to all the attendees. Following the colloquium, analysts will prepare research notes on the key findings, and they will be sent to all participants.

Gartner Financial Services analysts will also give priority to 1 on 1 requests from Colloquium participants throughout the symposium week.
