His sessions are described as energetic, lively, engaging, relative and real, and are designed to encourage people to move ahead, have a go, be creative and get things done!

Understanding the Change Equation
If successful change management requires people to change values and habits, it also requires a different approach to leadership. But, many leaders have a tendency to treat change mechanically, and mislead their people by focusing on easy to deal with activities that have little to do with pursuing progress. The key lies in correctly diagnosing the challenge and being able to enroll people in the process.

  Bob Correll transferred to DIAC from the position of Deputy Secretary Workforce Participation at the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) in July 2005. He is responsible for the Borders, Detention and Technology Group.
  
  He has a degree in Business Management and was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2005 for his contributions in employment and workforce participation.
  
  He has over 20 years experience in policy, programme and operations management in the employment, social welfare and immigration areas of government administration.
  
  He has oversighted the development and implementation of the outsourced public employment services in Australia, called Job Network, and has a strong background in the use of information technology to support and enable improved business operations.
  
  He is currently responsible for compliance detention services; border security; and information technology within the Department including the four year $500m plus Systems for People business transformation program.
  
  Systems for People started on 1 July 2006 and has so far deployed five major change releases throughout the DIAC. It is currently the largest business transformation program operating across the Australian Public Service.

  Tim Catley joined Sydney Water in June 2005 from News Limited. He is responsible for technology throughout Sydney Water.
  
  Tim studied Electrical and Electronic engineering at the University of East Anglia in Cambridge UK before starting his career in hardware design.
  
  He has over 20 years experience in IT infrastructure, operations management, and architecture and has held a number of senior leadership roles. He has worked for organisations as diverse as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, News Limited and Sydney Water.
  
  He has oversighted several large organisational transformations and has a strong background in the use of technology to enable improved business outcomes.
  
  He is currently responsible for a large transformation program at Sydney Water.
