Conference to Be Held at the International Convention Centre Barcelona (CCIB) on November 7-10, 2011
Gartner Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology (IT) industry, will hold its flagship annual conference in Europe in Barcelona, Spain in 2011. Gartner Symposium/ITxpo will be held at the International Convention Centre Barcelona (CCIB / www.ccib.es) on November 7-10, 2011.
Gartner Symposium/ITxpo is the largest annual gathering of chief information officers (CIOs) and senior IT executives in EMEA, attracting more than 4,000 attendees each year.
The conference will move to Barcelona in 2011 due to the recent confirmation that the G-20 Summit will now take place in November at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. This is the location where Gartner had previously planned to hold its event.
Alwyn Dawkins, senior vice president of Events at Gartner, said “The International Convention Centre Barcelona provides an excellent environment for our attendees and exhibitors to experience the full value of our conference and we look forward to hosting Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2011 in this world-class city.”
