Gartner Announces Appointment of David McClure to Its Public Sector Research Group
STAMFORD, CONN., January 14, 2005 Gartner, Inc. (NYSE: IT and ITB), the world's leading technology research and advisory firm, today announced the hiring of David McClure as research director in Gartner's Global Public Sector research group.
Mr. McClure joins Gartner after serving as vice president for eGovernment and Technology with the Council for Excellence in Government, and director for Information Technology Management Issues at the U.S. General Accounting Office. He has been directly involved in both the policy and pragmatic implementation sides of information management and technology in government.
