1. What is the best way to find open positions at Gartner?

2. Should I expect to hear back from Gartner after sending my application? If so, when?
Once your résumé is submitted, a recruiter assigned to the business unit you've applied to will review your application. If your skills and experience match the position's requirements, you will receive an e-mail or a phone call to schedule an interview. If your application is not a fit for us at this time, you will receive notification and a request to keep your information on file for future opportunities.
3. Should I reapply after a certain period of time?

4. What are interviews like at Gartner?
Gartner conducts behavioral and skill-based interviews. Interviews typically range from 30 to 90 minutes and are generally one-on-one. In some instances, group interviews are conducted.

Gartner looks for recent university graduates primarily to fill U.S. positions in our Small to Midsize Business (SMB) Sales Organization and Client Partner Group in Fort Myers, Florida, and product management and product development roles in our corporate office in Stamford, Connecticut. We also hire recent graduates for our corporate finance, accounting and marketing departments.
8. What types of positions are available for candidates with advanced degrees?
Gartner offers a variety of positions that require an M.B.A., Ph.D. or other advanced degree. Many of these positions are within our Consulting (Consultant), Events, Executive Programs (Executive Partner), High-Tech & Telecom Programs, End-User Programs and Research (Analyst, Research Director) business units.
9. Does Gartner offer internships?
Gartner does not have a formal internship program; however, certain business units will occasionally provide internship opportunities. Those opportunities will be posted on the Gartner website and can be searched and applied to via the Apply Now button.
