Career Opportunities

End-User Programs associates work within one of two role categories: Service Delivery or Product.

Service Delivery associates are generally responsible for driving retention in existing clients. Through an in-depth understanding of a client's business, they drive engagement and usage of Gartner products and services. Associates work in one of the following roles:

Client Partners (CPs) work with individual clients (typically a director level and above) who have access to services within an assigned territory, to ensure that they receive value far surpassing the cost of their services. They work in a collaborative partnership with multiple sales executives to encourage client engagement based on a deep understanding of the client's business and key initiatives, milestones and measures of success.

Client Research Associates (CRAs) support clients (primarily IT technical staff) who have access to the Gartner for Technical Professionals product. They manage client requests for analyst inquiry and research with the objective of ensuring that clients within their assigned territory receive superior value for their investment. They work in a collaborative partnership with multiple sales executives to encourage client engagement based on a deep understanding of the client's business and the key initiatives, milestones and measures of success most predictive of the client renewing his or her service entitlements.

Leadership Partners (LPs) are responsible for managing and delivering premier Gartner products that cater to senior leaders in large enterprises who are managing IT functions for a business unit or the entire enterprise. They are trusted advisors/coaches who promote client learning as well as assist in helping clients execute on key initiatives by leveraging their industry experience and combining it with Gartner knowledge and resources.

Leadership Client Managers (LCMs) partner with Leadership Partners to serve senior leaders in large enterprises. They provide assistance with all research and analyst inquiry requests and supporting the delivery of customized responses. LCMs actively manage the relationship with the client and ensure that delivery plans are completed on time.

New Client Engagement Specialists (NCEs) are certified product specialists. The NCE team is responsible for providing interactive training/onboarding sessions with clients so that they receive the best value from the products and services they have purchased. Sessions highlight key tools, features and services available. NCE associates liaise with client account teams to better understand client needs, which in turn helps NCE tailor a more customized experience. NCE also facilitates quarterly campaigns that stimulate existing client retention by introducing clients to features they may not be using. The team also helps educate other associates on new products by hosting global training webinars.

Product associates have roles within three areas:

Product Management: This team is responsible for growing the Gartner business, product by product, year after year. Associates manage the Gartner product portfolio and develop client communication strategies as well as sales support programs and go-to-market strategies.

Product Development: This team conducts and manages analyses that assess market opportunities, define product concepts and drive the development of new products and deliverables, from definition to market release. Associates drive innovation within the product portfolio that increases client engagement, and manage road maps for key delivery platforms.

Product Marketing: This team is responsible for ensuring that products are positioned to stimulate and satisfy the demands of the end-user market and drive continued product-line growth. Associates stimulate product demand through lead-generating campaigns targeted to senior decision makers, and ensure that account teams have the right tools to position our offerings and close opportunities. They also help support retention by working with sales teams to maximize the value each client receives.
